Measuring Code
Using lines-of-code or cyclical complexity to measure software is like using average word length or frequency of the letter 'n' to measure the quality of a novel. Having said this, though, there are situations in which knowing how many words or pages a book has might be useful.
I'm trying to do many things with my life, but the most important ones right now are:
1) Add value to large companies as a high-level executive.
2) Fix public education
3) Fight the notion that people must specialize; strive to be a renaissance man.
I'm interested in a great many subjects, academic, practical, and impractical.
Specifically, I like sports, movies, reading, philosophy, psychology, physics, business strategery, startups, investing, history, and many other subjects.
